With our delayed spring market picking up where we left off after the Phase 2 reopening we’ve been quite busy and the landscape of real estate and viewings homes has changed.
More emphasis has been placed on photos, virtual tours and drive-by’s to avoid unenessary expsorure and tours of sellers’ homes.
The good news? Sellers can expect a higher concentration of motivated serious buyers.
The bad news? Well no more open houses and less general touring and the happenstance that someone falls in love with a home because they saw it in person.
Still things are shifting and we shall adapt!
Something else that has changed is that as of Monday July 13, is that we are required to wear masks in many indoors spaces as per a new bylaw.
Some of the indoor spaces that will require masks include:
Places of worship.
The bylaws do not cover the following public spaces:
Federal or provincial buildings.
Colleges, universities or schools.
Hospitals or health facilities.
Employee-only areas of businesses and other buildings.

If you’re looking for a mask to wear there are plenty of local providers. One option we are looking at personally are these masks from Canadian providers Plusguardiancanada.ca that include a breathing vent and filters as well as being washable. This may be more effective and easier to use for those who have trouble breathing using a mask.
